With the frame stripped of the components I can see some rust here and there but not bad at all, it will be removed before powder coating.

I am mad at myself because I guess I forgot to take photos of the frame after stripping and prepping. I did take photos of the fork stripped and prepped. Basically the frame had the same process and look.

The powder coating process went well. I did powder coat the fork twice, the first time I just did not like a spot so I stripped it and powder coated it again. Overall the matte black looks fantastic! I am very pleased with the results. I am excited to see the world sport completed in the new matte black.

It is now time to assemble the Schwinn World Sport. It was just suppose to be a powder coating and assembly but its me and I had to overhaul the headset and bottom bracket. I cleaned all the pieces and packed the bearings in new grease. Everything spins great and everything looks amazing!!

From here it is just basic assembly. I tried to clean the components the best they would as I went. Everything assembled very well and the Schwinn World Sport transformed with every component added. Its an amazing look bicycle!

I installed the head badge with a combination of tape, new rivets and epoxy. I think the head badge and the matte black is one of the coolest looks I have seen! The red center with the gloss black outer ring and silver just pops off the matte black color. I love it!!

I really like the look of the World Sport! Tim really has a nice look going with all the black and a little chrome. Its one mean looking bike!!
I test road the World Sport after assembly to make sure all was installed correctly. The large tires are an amazing ride!! Like riding a very fast Cadillac! Tim is a man after my own heart when it comes to tires!
I am very pleased with the results of the World Sport. The black and matte black theme turned out amazing! Quite a transformation!
